The Story How I Got Into a Zettelkasten Trap

I was having a hard time managing and editing all drafts for my future blog posts, collecting and reviewing work-related materials, and all sorts of lists: reading, references, links, etc.

One of my friends shared a link to Obsidian and an article about the Zettelkasten a few years ago. It clicked immediately because it was exactly what I needed at the moment.

Everything was scattered around different apps: Evernote, Apple Notes, Notion, and was basically a write-only thing with a very high friction against revisiting and updating it. It was quite the opposite from Evergreen notes.

It was December 2020. I installed Obsidian and started to take notes about everything that comes to my mind. In the next 4 years, I wrote more than 4000 notes:
