I Moved to Portugal by an Accident

A few years ago we arranged with several friends of mine that as soon as the COVID-19 pandemic was over we would rent a villa on Madeira and gather all together.

Ironically, I was the only one who fulfilled my part of the deal and got to Portugal.

To be honest, we (me & Ju) moved to Portugal by accident.

I've always considered Portugal as a nice place to live and maybe even try one day as a digital nomad, but we were not going to move anywhere at the moment.

Then the Russian-Ukraine war broke out.

We took a flight to Istanbul to have a look around and make up a plan. Portugal appeared to be a good idea and probably the best of all possible opportunities. We decided not to let it sleep.

Now it's 2 years since we are here and it's time for a long-term detailed review.
