I Used to Avoid Obsidian Plugins


I used to treat Obsidian plugins VERY conservatively.

I use only essential ones because digging through hundreds of plugins is not something I want to spend time on.

Why? Because too many plugins make the whole thing complicated and easy to break. Plugins may conflict with each other or can become abandoned by the author or break with the next Obsidian release.

Later on, I started to pay more attention to the overpacked distrustful UI, annoying routines, and unnecessary actions that I have to repeat frequently.

Now I have the following habit: I accumulate enough irritation for several months, then dive deeply into [[Obsidian]] plugins, forums, etc, trying to find a way to better user experience.
