Why I Keep Track of People in the Internet

I keep a list of notable people from the internet.

Why?

People sometimes disappear. They change nicknames or avatars. Sometimes their names are harder to remember than the context I met them. On a 10+ years timespan, people migrate to different social networks.

But there is one thing that never changes: my notebook with a list of people from the internet.

Another important thing is context.

When I find someone notable, I drop them to my Zettelkasten with a link to the people list and, add a short description, and I also add some context links that make it possible to find them afterward.
